Over 62,000 domestic and foreign visitors vacationed in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak during the six-day holiday which began on April 28, marking a 69.3 percent annual increase.
The number of vacationers visiting major tourism sites doubled the rates of average days, according to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
On the occasion, the province also welcomed war veterans visiting former battlefields 40 years after liberation.
Coffee and traditional craft village tours, exhibitions, music performances, film screenings, sport competitions and folk games were among the major attractions.
