Location: 137 Pham Huu Lau Street, Ward 4, Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap Province. Characteristics: The relic site was built in memory Junior DoctorNguyen Sinh Sac (1862-1929), father of President Ho Chi Minh.
The relic site covers an area of 9ha, highlight of which is Junior Doctor Nguyen Sinh Sac’s tomb. The tomb faces the east with lotus-shape roof decorated with nine dragons. In front of the tomb is the star-shaped lotus pond with 7m-high white lotus statue in the middle, which symbolizes the pure and noble life of Junior Doctor Nguyen Sinh Sac. In the campus of the tomb, there are a lot of valuable trees donated by people from different regions of the country.
In addition, coming to Nguyen Sinh Sac Relic Site, visitors will also visit the memorial house where displays many artifacts and documents on the life and career of the junior doctor; fishpond and stilt-house modelled after the house of President Ho Chi Minh in Ha Noi; a corner of Hoa An Village in the past, where reappears the life of Hoa An villagers through daily activities, traditional crafts, local cuisine, etc.
