Zannier Bai San Ho proudly stands as the only representative from Vietnam to be honoured on the list.
According to The Telegraph, the property boasts a village-inspired design, with indigenous-style villas spread across the hillside. Public spaces are decorated with antiques and striking photography, creating a setting that feels ready for a magazine cover while maintaining a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere.
“Public spaces are filled with eye-catching antiques and photography. Everywhere you look appears ready for a magazine shoot, though the ambience remains thoroughly relaxed and unpretentious”, it notes.
Hospitality is another highlight, with staff largely recruited from surrounding villages. Nestled on 98 hectares of lush greenery, Zannier Bai San Ho features more than 70 villas set amid rice fields and overlooking a pristine white-sand beach.
Guests can also enjoy a private bay, a selection of fine restaurants, a world-class spa, and what the newspaper describes as “surprisingly affordable rates.”
“A private bay, choice of excellent restaurants, knock-out spa and surprisingly affordable rates complete the winning formula”, the newspaper stresses.
The Telegraph has an archive of over 10,000 hotel reviews. The final list for the 2025 awards was selected by a jury of 24 expert hotel reviewers, divided into five judging panels covering Europe, Asia, the Americas and Caribbean, Africa, and Oceania.
Rounding off the list of top 50 include Mandarin Oriental of Thailand, Ballyfin of Ireland, EllermanHouse of South Africa, The Peninsula Hong Kong, Les Prés d’Eugénie of France, Awasi Patagonia of Chile, Hotel Santa Caterina of Italy, Southern Ocean Lodge of Australia, The Maybourne Riviera of France, and Palace Hotel Tokyo of Japan.
