Air France to resume HCM City-Paris air route

Air France, a founding member of the airline alliance SkyTeam, on September 29 said it would resume the Ho Chi Minh City-Paris direct flight on November 2, after six years of cessation.

Accordingly, Air France will offer three flights a week, using Boeing 747-400 aircraft with 40 business-class seats and 396 tourist-class seats.

In addition, the airline will use new aircraft Boeing 777-300 ER with Premium Voyagerur space and full services for the HCM City-Paris flights.

Additional two flights from HCM City and five others from Hanoi will be conducted by national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines a week. Thus, by this November, Air France will launch 10 direct flights to Paris.

Currently, the airline is implementing a special promotion programme which offers 777 USD ticket till October 24. The price is also applied to return tickets from Hanoi or HCM City to Paris (France) or other European countries between November 1, 2010-March 31, 2011.
