More than 60 vegetarian treats will be available for buffet lunch and dinner for guests to enjoy from 11 a.m. for lunch and from 5:30 p.m. for dinner throughout August. Food selections will change daily.
Besides salad, soup, steamed and fried dishes, this year the restaurant will offer noodle, tofu and other Saigon favorites. The restaurant will also serve vegetarian cakes made by Givral as dessert.
Price for adults is VND130,000 for lunch and VND160,000 for dinner, with children VND80,000. Guests will receive a free ticket when they buy 10 vouchers for lunch or dinner.
Traditionally, many Vietnamese, particularly Buddhists eat vegetarian food to express gratitude and filial piety to parents and forefathers during the Vu Lan festival or Ghost Festival that falls in the seventh month of the lunar calendar.
