Market 39 Restaurant

There is a nine-hour brunch on the first Saturday of every month at the hotel’s food and beverage outlets of The Library, Market 39 and Purple Jade on October 3 and November 7 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The weekend brunch journey will take diners to more than fifteen live cooking stations with fresh seafood, premium BBQ grill, international and local delicacies, desserts, a selection of cocktails and free flow of Veuve Clicquot champagne plus live band and DJ performance.

Market 39 on the hotel’s ground floor will run a Korean Culinary Festival Week from October 22 to November 15 presented by Korean guest chefs flown in from InterContinental Seoul Coex. There is a delectable spread of Korean delicacies at live cooking stations with free flow of Sohju, beer, soft drinks, tea and coffee.

A culinary team at Yuchu on the first floor of the hotel will introduce a Fujian Culinary Month in October, featuring fried rice with shrimps and dried scallops, sour and spicy fish and Fujian-style eel as well as the famous “Sa Cha” styled beef with broccoli and toasted sesame. Other local favorites include braised pork knuckles with soya, ginger and star anise as well as crispy fried tofu and salmon pies.

Basilico restaurant on the ground floor has a Sicilian Culinary Month featuring some of the Islands classic dishes of traditional Avancici, deep fried risotto balls with beef ragout or the freshest orange and fennel salad. Main course highlights feature spaghetti with grilled red mullet and Sicilian-style baked swordfish. Homemade cassata with ricotta or Cannolis filled with chocolate; caramel and pistachio are a perfect way to end your meal. Sicilian menu is served for lunch and dinner during October.

Guests to Purple Jade Bar on the first floor will join in a Festival of Flavors of Oktoberfest until October 4 from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. Taking its roots from the original Oktoberfest held in the Bavarian city of Munich, Germany, the bar features an extensive selection of German beers with authentic German delights.

Spa InterContinental on level 3 has Couple Bliss Therapy package for guests to enjoy two-and-a-half hours of sensory experiences, roses and candles in a VIP couple room with foot therapy, body exfoliation and a tension-releasing massage.
