The dialogue aims to collect some opinions from some scientists, clubs, and artisans. Through that, the Department built schedule and measures to turn “Ca tru” singing out of list of intangible cultural heritage in urgent protection.

According to statistics, Ha Noi city is home to 14 clubs of “Ca tru” singing such as “ca tru” singing in Ha Noi, Thai Ha “ca tru” singing club… In the city, there are about 50 teachers to teach “Ca tru” singing” and hundreds of the students.

Addressing at the dialogue, Truong Minh Tien, vice-manager of Ha Noi’s city Department of Culture and Sports said that the dialogue is foundation for the Department to build Plan to maintain and develop some values of “ca tru” singing in 2016-2020 periods. The project will be implemented in the up-coming time.

At the dialogue, some delegates showed situation of “ca tru” singing and proposed some measures to maintain and develop some values of “Ca tru” singing.

The Department said that Ha Noi city would organize the “ca tru” singing festival to discover some young talents among clubs and localities.
