The event, the eighth of its kind in Viet Nam and the second at the Thong Nhat Park, was co-organised by the Embassy of Thailand in Viet Nam, the Department of International Trade Promotion under the Thai Ministry of Commerce and Thailand’s national flag carrier Thai Airways.

In his opening remarks, Thai Ambassador to Viet Nam Panyarak Poolthup said that the initiative aims to promote cooperation and friendship between the two countries.

It featured performances of Muay Thai and other traditional martial arts of Thailand with a view to helping Vietnamese better their understanding of these arts.

Thailand’s culture and traditional dishes were introduced at the event.

All the proceeds will be gifted to the National Fund for Vietnamese Children.
