The Nova Group started the construction of the Nova Phu Sa eco-tourism and urban complex project in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho’s Cai Rang district on January 12.
The complex is located on the Au islet in Hung Phu ward.
Covering an area of over 19ha with 60 deluxe rooms and 47 villas, the 35 million USD project is expected to be completed and put into service in mid-2017, helping attract high-class customers and increasing the city’s position on the world’s tourism map.
According to the Novaland Group’s executives, Can Tho is growing economically and the city also has an advantageous location to promote tourism based on cultural elements distinctively characterised the southern region.
Addressing the ground-breaking ceremony, Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Vo Thanh Thong said the city readies to create favorable conditions for investors to the locality.
He added that the project is expected to contribute to the city’s tourism development in the time ahead.
