(TITC) - In order to promote tourism potentials and strengths of the Far North’s provinces to visitors and tourism investors, the tourism program of “Through the Far North’s Heritage Sites” and Thanh Tuyen (Tuyen Quang) Festival will take place in Tuyen Quang Province from 9 to 12 September 2016.
The program has the participants of six Far North’s provinces including Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang and many international art troupes from China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Laos, Russia, etc.
Many diversified and attractive activities will be held during the program such as Thanh Tuyen Night, folk art culture festival, the display and introduction on cuisine of ethnic groups in the Northern mountainous region, Ha Noi beer festival, Northern Mountainous Region’s art photo festival, Miss Tuyen Quang, contests of sports, etc.
Tourism program of “Through the Far North’s Heritage Sites” is expected to create many opportunities of cooperation, exchange and tourism potential exploitation for the six Far North’s provinces. This is also the chance for visitors to discover and admire the beauty of the Far North region with outstanding landscape sites as Dong Van Karst Plateau in Ha Giang Province, Ba Be Lake in Bac Kan Province, Ban Gioc Waterfall in Cao Bang Province, Na Hang Hydroelectric Lake in Tuyen Quang Province, etc.
