Hoi An has been recognized as Vietnam’s only representative on Tripadvisor’s Travelers' Choice Best of the Best Destinations list, ranking among the 25 most romantic honeymoon destinations in the world.

In the latest rankings, Hoi An secured the 4th spot among the world's top 25 honeymoon destinations and ranked 11th on the list of the world’s top 25 destinations overall.
According to Tripadvisor, Hoi An - once a bustling and vital Southeast Asian trading port - remains a well-preserved heritage site, showcasing its ancient charm and rich cultural-historical significance. Increasingly famous worldwide, Hoi An has become a beloved stop for both domestic and international tourists.
The picturesque town is adorned with moss-covered ancient houses, iconic yellow walls aged by time, and rustic brown-tiled roofs. Hoi An is also home to the unique Japanese Covered Bridge (Chua Cau) and various historic temples and shrines, including Ong Pagoda, Quan Cong Temple, Ong Dia Shrine, Son Pho Communal House, and Ngu Hanh Hy Hoa Temple.
A special highlight is the Hoi An Lantern Festival, held on the 14th and 15th days of the lunar month, where the romantic Hoai river glows with hundreds of floating lanterns, creating a magical and unforgettable experience.
