Hue relic site will soon have an automatic voice-over system in five languages installed to provide better services, according to Phan Thanh Hai, director of the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre.
The system will be available at Dai Noi (Royal Palace) and mausoleums of Kings of the Nguyen dynasty. The project’s fund comes from non-public sources.
In addition to this, e-tickets will be sold and free Wi-Fi will be offered.
According to the Thua Thien Hue provincial Department of Tourism, Hue welcomed nearly 58,000 international and local tourists in the three National Day holidays on September 2-4.
In the first eight months of the year, the number of visitors to Hue increased 20% to 1.8 million against last year’s corresponding period with foreign arrivals reaching 900,000 (up 36.5%) and local tourists 860,000 (up 7%). Total ticket sales revenue surged 33% to VND192.4 billion.
