The European Music Festival (EMF 2016) will kick off in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City on November 18, the organizers have announced.
With a total of 16 concerts in the two cities, the fest will welcome solo artists, duos, trios and big bands from nine countries including Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, and Sweden.
Hanoians will have chance to enjoy great performances of well-known Hungarian Katica Illényi and the Viet Nam National Symphony Orchestra while Ho Chi Minh City music lovers will be amazed by Italian jazz trio Angelika Niescier, Simone Zanchini, and Stefano Senni.
Since its launch in 2001, the event has captured the attention of Vietnamese people, especially music fans.
It has delivered different genres of music, ranging from jazz melodies to great classic, contemporary as well as Viet Nam’s traditional music.
