(TITC) – Marking the celebration of 50th Anniversary of ASEAN and ASEAN-RoK Cultural Exchange Year, ASEAN-Korea Centre organizes a Photo Contest on ASEAN cultural and tourism.
The contest is open to all citizens of ASEAN and Korea aiming to reveal the infinite charm of the 10 ASEAN member states under four categories: natural wonders; cultural wonders; culinary wonders; and wonderful people; furthermore contribute to strengthening exchange and mutual understanding between ASEAN and Korea.
Photos entries must be the original work of the entrants taken within the last 3 years. Submission deadline will be on 23 April, and announcement of winners will be on 18 May 2017.
There will be one First Prize winner (with 2 round-trip economy class tickets to any destinations in ASEAN and Korea); 4 Second Prize winners per 4 categories (with 1 iPad Mini 2 each); 45 Third Prize winners (with USD10 worth of gift card each). Besides, four special wards will be also awarded by Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board, Philippines Department of Tourism, Singapore Tourism Board, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (with 2 round-trip economy class tickets each to Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand, respectively).
The winning photo entries will be exhibited at some venues in Korea such as: COEX, Seoul from 1-4 June; Ansan Culture Center in Gyeonggi Province from 15-30 June; Seoul Metropolitan Library in Seoul from 1-31 July; and ASEAN Hall at the ASEAN-Korea Centre in Seoul from August-December 2017.
