(TITC) - Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2017 for the first time will take place in a two-month period (from 30 April to 24 June 2017) with vibrant firework performances themed “Shining with Marble Mountains” and a series of attractive activities.
DIFF 2017 (formerly called the Da Nang International Fireworks Competition) will not merely set the stage for the most dazzling displays of spectacular fireworks, but also represents a desire for peace and preservation of cultural values throughout the world.
The festival is expected to bring a lively summer, attract about two million visitors to Da Nang which has been named as Asia’s leading and event destination by the World Travel Awards.
This year, DIFF has the participation of eight pyrotechnic teams from the world’s leading countries for fireworks such as Australia, Switzerland, Austria, United Kingdom, Japan, China, Italy and Viet Nam.
The fireworks performances are scheduled to show on the main stage of Ngu Hanh Stage beside Han River on 5 nights including the opening ceremony on April 30 (Viet Nam - Austria), May 20 (Switzerland-Japan), May 27 (China - UK), June 3 (Australia - Italy) and closing ceremony on June 24 (final) with 5 themes of Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood, respectively.
Besides, a series of activities including international food festival, carnival-style atmosphere throughout the city will be held during the festival.
Tickets of DIFF 2017 is officially opened on sale from March 1, 2017 in Ha Noi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Ninh and Lao Cai with the price from 300,000-500,000VND.
