Within the first ten months of this year, Saigontourist Travel and Services Company greeted more than 76,000 cruise tourists to Halong Bay, a 5.3 fold annual increase compared to previous years.
From October 11 to 18, 2008 alone, Saigontourist planned to welcome three SuperStar Virgo cruise trips to Halong Bay with more than 6,300 tourists from Hong Kong and China. SuperStar Virgo is a five-star cruise ship of Star Cruises Group, including 13 floors with 980 cabins.
From April 15 to October 22, 2008, on the basis of cooperation between Saigontourist and Star Cruises Group, Super Star Virgo has established sea routes to Halong Bay during every Tuesday of the week.
