A “kingdom of roses” is being built in Flamingo Dai Lai Resort in the northern province of Vinh Phuc. Such a kingdom is planned to house some 500 old rose species of Viet Nam and the world.
In this would-be kingdom, a rosy villa has been debuted, indulging even hard-to-please tourists. In this house, tourists can savor tea and biscuits made of roses while sniffing up fresh air and different fragrance of roses.
Apart from the romantic villa, the kingdom will have a rosy building named Forest in the Sky, a park of roses, five-kilometer road of flowers, and an island of roses. Such a kingdom is hoped to be completed in next year.
According to Flamingo Group’s Executive Director Rajat Chhabra, Flamingo is going to establish a rose research and development center in the hope of preserving domestic and international roses of different old varieties. Famous roses which are difficult to grow, such as Don Juan- a specialty of Hai Phong city, French roses in Sa Pa and old Vietnamese roses in Son La are now under research in Flamingo.
Coming to Flamingo Dai Lai Resort this summer, tourists will be entertained with the atmosphere full of roses beside sparkling candles placed in flower baskets and be provided with relaxing experiences brought by rosy oil and dried roses in blossom.
