From Ha Noi, tourists go by car, train, or plane to Vinh City and then drive to Cua Lo Beach.

There, in addition to sunbathing on the beach, the neighborhood offers tourists the beautiful landscape of the Hong Linh Mountain, President Ho Chi Minh’s home village of Kim Lien, Ngu, Lan Chau and Mat islands, Cua Hoi ecological site, Bua Cave, and the Kim Son hot spring.

Tran Van Binh is a visitor. He said, “Cua Lo is a tourist destination in the central region. There you can relax on the beautiful beach to enjoy the fresh air. You can also visit the home village of President Ho Chi Minh, an historical relic site.”

Taking a boat to unspoiled islands, mountain climbing, diving, and visiting historical relic sites are some of the things you can do while in Cua Lo. A temple dedicated to Mandarin Nguyen Su Hoi, Dao Ngu Pagoda, and Quan Tung Mountain are popular destinations.

Hiring local fishermen’s boats to go to the sea in the early morning is an interesting experience that you should not miss.

Nguyen Thi Tam, a tourist from Ha Noi, said, “This is my first time in Cua Lo and Vinh. The beach is crowded, even during the early days of summer vacation. The sea is clean and local people are hospitable.”

The Cua Lo township was set up in 1994 and recognized as a marine tourism urban area by the Prime Minister in 2014. The locality has upgraded its infrastructure, recreation centers, and hotels.

The local administration is implementing 4 major projects to build a tourism, trade, and sports complex, an ethnic cultural village, a park, and a night market to draw more visitors.

Cua Lo’s more than 280 hotels with more than 7,500 rooms can accommodate more than 2.5 million tourists a year.

Nguyen Manh Dung, a tourist official in Nghe An said, “Cua Lo intends to modernize its tourism infrastructure and create a civilized tourism environment with friendly and hospitable people.”

The locality is promoting tourist links with neighboring provinces including Ha Tinh, Thanh Hoa and Quang Binh to diversify its tourist products. Cua Lo has set up a center to introduce local products and provide tourist information service.
