Latest made in Vietnam garment and footwear fashion products will be on show at the Vietnam Fashion Fair 2008 to be held at the Vietnam Friendship Palace, Hanoi from November 19th – 24th, 2008.
According to the deputy general director of the Vietnam Garment and Textile Group (Vinatex), Le Tien Truong, this year’s Vietnam Fashion Fair, apart from the aim of introducing high ranking trademark and latest collections of designers to the market, it also shows the capacity of production and exports as well as the ability to satisfy the order from foreign customers. One of the main targets of the Fair is also to advertise Vietnamese textile and footwear on the road of integration and development with the world textile and footwear.
On the area of 5,000 sq m, the fair will have the participation of over 100 businesses with around 3,000 booths displaying textile, footwear, jewellery, wedding fashion, model glasses, cosmetics and accessories.
During the fair, fashion shows introducing collection of enterprises and designers will also be performed.
Two seminars covering the development targeting domestic market and solution for textile industry to be held on November 20th, 2008 will provide a forum for managers and related people to discuss for a better way of the sector’s development.
This is an annual event, held in November in Hanoi and July in Ho Chi Minh City by Vietnam Garment and Textile Group (Vinatex), Vietnam Garment Association (Vitas), Vietnam Leather Footwear Association (Lefasco) and the Vietnam Exhibition, Fair and Advertisement Company (Vietfair).
