Co Thach untouched by time
Update: Mar 12, 2018
From January to March every year, scores of photographers rush to Co Thach Beach in Tuy Phong District, Binh Thuan Province to get the best shots of stunning moss-covered stones in early morning fog.

Moss-covered stones are captured in Co Thach Beach

The beach is surrounded by small stones of various colors and shapes, called seven-color stones, formed by tides and waves thousands of years ago. Dawn is the ideal time for photographers to take the best photos when the tide recedes.

Therefore, they have to wake up at around 3am to wait for the sun to rise because when the tide rises at around 8 a.m., moss will be submerged.

Co Thach, around 300 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City, is blessed with the picturesque natural scenery and the untapped beauty of renowned sightseeing spots such as Hang Pagoda (or Co Thach Pagoda), Nam Hai Whale Worshiping Temple, Co Thach sand dunes, Ca Na beach, mineral spring and Vinh Hao mud bath site.
