The Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2018 will take place at Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourism Area and Trang An Ecotourism Area, the northern province of Ninh Binh, from May 25 to 31.
The event will create an opportunity for the province to have exchange and cooperation on culture, socio-economy and tourism with Vietnamese and foreign localities, and affirm the position of Ninh Binh province as a safe, attractive, civilized, friendly and hospitable tourism destination.
The week will be held to mark the 1050th anniversary of Dai Co Viet state.
Accordingly, diverse activities will be held such as the opening ceremony, Tam Coc pedestrian street and gastronomy market, survey photography tours on the golden in Tam Coc, survey on building Ninh Binh tourism products, photo exhibition on Tam Coc and Trang An, traditional artistic performances, and shows on traditional handicrafts.
The event aims to introduce the specific characteristics of Ninh Binh provincial tourism, especially Trang An landscape complex - a world cultural and natural heritage. Activities will take place along the two side of Ngo Dong river, belonging to Dinh Cac - Ca Cave - Hai Cave - Ba Cave tour, contributing to the increase the number of visitors and turnover on tourism activities and striving to make the provincial tourism a key economic sector by 2030.
