Australian Food and Wine Journey begins this week

As part of the month-long Taste of Australia program, the Australian Consulate-General will host a public Australian Food and Wine Journey from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on April 14 at the Park Hyatt Saigon, offering a chance for diners to discover some of Australia’s best wines from over 20 Australian wineries across the country.

Everyone to the hotel will be able to sample delicious Australian wines and learn all about them from distributors, while wine lovers can learn more about Australia’s top wine regions and unique varietals from wine masters in dedicated workshops. Some of Australia’s best premium produce, including meat, cheese, fruit and desserts will pair wonderfully with these wines at the event.

Tickets, including tasting of all wines and food at the event, and entrance into dedicated wine workshops, are VND250,000 (about US$11) per person (entrance for adults of over 18 years of age only) and on sale at the Park Hayatt Saigon Business Center and Red Apron District 1 and District 2 stores, and will be available for purchase on the day. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Breast Cancer Network Vietnam.
