An array of exciting activities under the program “Da Nang - Rendezvous of Summer” will be held from June 16th to 20th, 2018, promising to bring new and attractive experiences for local people and tourists in the central coastal city.

The annual event, hosted by the Da Nang Department of Tourism, will include an opening ceremony on June 16th, special art programs at East Sea Park, Pop Rock bands festival, modern dance performances, Fun Beach music festival, and cuisine festival.
In addition, tourists will have the chance to join an exhibition about Da Nang tourism; kiosks introducing tourism stimulus programs and souvenir products; a beer festival; a kite festival; an open paragliding tournament, and a bikini flashmob.
The highlight of this year’s event is a series of free film screenings on the beach with many films about tourism and landscapes of Viet Nam such as “Kong - Skull islands”, “Owl and the sparrow”, and “Beach rescue team” and activities in response to sea environment protection, such as “exchanging rubbish for notebooks” and “clean up beaches”.
Mr. Ngo Quang Vinh, Director of the Department of Tourism, said that this is the first time the organ coordinated with tourism and travel businesses and associations to organize booths to further boost promotion activities for tours, routes, tourism products and cuisine. Travel companies will host one-day and half-day tours, while hotel associations will organize cuisine festival.
