They will also work towards tourism growth in both Viet Nam and the East Asian nation.

The RoK is an important tourism market of Viet Nam and Saigontourist in particular. The MoU is significant for Viet Nam’s leading travel company as its presence will help attract more RoK tourists to Viet Nam.

Saigontourist will focus on nudging Vietnamese tourism closer to those living in Seoul.

The signing ceremony is part of the Seoul Global Partnership Project, an action plan carried out by Seoul to lure more international arrivals to the city.

Saigontourist was the only Vietnamese firm joining in the event, together with 16 companies and agencies from Russia, India, Mongolia, Hong Kong (China), Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.

It was also among the top 20 businesses bringing the most tourists to the RoK in recent three years.

Saigontourist has been in top ten tour operators in Viet Nam for years. Its brand name has stretched far beyond the border thanks to its close partnership with more than 300 travel companies and agents from 36 countries and territories around the world.
