Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum, Dien Bien provincial Museum and Dien Bien Phu historical relic sites in the northwestern mountainous province of Dien Bien will open free for visitors on National Day (September 2nd).

It is part of activities to mark the 73rd anniversary of August Revolution (August 19th) and National Day (September 2nd).
Dien Bien provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism instructed relevant agencies to organize activities such as an artistic performance praising the Party, beloved Uncle Ho and the homeland; folk games; exhibition on historical periods and provincial socio-economic achievements and culture of ethnic groups in the province.
In addition, a film week will be held for people in remote and disadvantaged communes.
