Diverse activities related to the culture of the southwestern Viet Nam is taking place at the Viet Nam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Ha Noi from October 1st to 30th.

The event will be held by the Management Board of the Village, in coordination with Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Soc Trang, Ninh Thuan and Kon Tum provinces, to introduce to tourists the cultural features, customs and special products of ethnic people.
Activities will include the reinstatement of water space and traditional artistic performances of ethnic minority groups in the southwestern region; introduction of special foods and photos on the region; promotion of local tourism; and art performances of Khmer ethnic people in Soc Trang province, folk dances of ethnic groups.
Tourists will also have a chance to participate in Dolta lotus festival of Khmer ethnic group in Soc Trang province, new rice celebration of Xo Dang ethnic group in Kon Tum province, and Palau Sah Rain Praying Festival of Cham ethnic people in Ninh Thuan province.
During weekend, visitors can take part in exchange programs, and pray for peace at the space of Khmer pagodas, Cham towers, and other pagodas in the village.
