In recent days, the Saigon people have been excited about the appearance of a vast field of sunflowers. This place quickly became a popular destination for local people.
For the first time in Ho Chi Minh City, there is a large field of sunflowers for local people to visit and enjoy. To enjoy such a sight in the past sight, people had to go to Da Lat city in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong or to the north. The area spans over 18,000 m2, with about 600,000 flowers, located inside Van Phuc urban area on Highway 13 (Hiep Binh Phuoc ward, Thu Duc district. This unique destination has attracted visitors from far and wide.
With a burning passion for all things beautiful, the owners of the sunflower garden have made great efforts to bring this flower to Ho Chi Minh City, for everyone to enjoy them.
To put a brilliant sunflower field in the heart of the city, it also takes a lot of research and adjustment to help flower varieties tolerate the soil conditions in the area along the Saigon River.
The flowers have been planted for more than 70 days, and the perfect time to visit the field is between 7am and 9am and 2pm and 5pm. At those times, the flowers are big and bright, welcoming the sun.
The sunflower field is a non-profit project of a group of agricultural development engineers in Ho Chi Minh City. The entrance ticket price is VND 30,000, to compensate for taking care of the plants, instead of VND 50,000 like other places. The first batch will be open for visiting until the end of January 5, 2019.
