According to Ba Ria – Vung Tau Newspapers, from June 2021, Vietsovpetro Resort serves guests working at oil rigs and ships,monitors their health before and after going on rig. To ensure the safety of guests, from July 16, Vietsovpetro Resort decided to organize "stay on-site" for officials and employees.

 

The resort has houses for workers with full facilities such as air conditioning, television, and sport room to relax after work. Staffs stay in each room separately, keeping a safe distance. The groups on duty are organized alternately.

 

The service process strictly follows "5K", guests stay in the room and only go out to the balcony when the staff cleans the room. Food and drinks are served in the room. Every week all employees are tested for SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR. Every day, the guest rooms are cleaned. After guest check-out, the resort will be disinfected.

 

DIC Star Landmark Vung Tau is currently serving 160 guests who are long-stay experts working for projects in the province.This unit implements "one way, two destinations" method that requires employees to come to work and then go home, absolutely no contact with strangers.Employees in the blockade area, related to the infection chain are asked to stay at home.

 

In addition, Grand-Palace-Rex, Petro Hotel, Pullman, The Grand Ho Tram Resort & Casino are still serving experts and long-term tourists. All of them comply with social distancing in accordance with Directive 16 to both prevent the pandemic and welcome guests. A representative of The Grand Ho Tram Resort & Casino said that although it was very difficult, nearly 2,000 employees are still paid full wages.

 

According to Mr. Trinh Hang, Director of Department of Tourism, these hotels and resorts are really bright sites of tourism industry in the context of Vietnam tourism has been serious affected by the pandemic.
