Co-organised by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nam Dinh province, the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Provincial Association of Cuisine Culture, the event is held from May 7 to 9, aiming to display and introduce typical trade and tourism products of the province.
The event contributes to promoting the beauty of the land, cultural identity, cuisine and people of Nam Dinh to a large number of delegates, visitors and friends, fans, and domestic and international reporters.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nam Dinh province, businesses, cooperatives, craft villages and production households throughout the province have organised 20 booths to display and introduce products such as industry, handicrafts, and typical OCOP of the province.
In particular, the event features the participation of provincial culinary artisans and the Vietnam Cuisine Culture Association.
The culinary culture space will serve traditional dishes, typical of Nam Dinh. In addition, there are many stalls introducing specialities of other localities across the country.
Also in this space, Nam Dinh introduces "the practices related to the Vietnamese worship of Mother Goddesses" inscribed on UNESCO's list of intangible heritages of humanity.
