Five-star cruise ship Le Laperouse has brought more than 200 tourists from Europe and the Americas to Tien Sa Port of Da Nang city after more than 2 years of the COVID-inflicted hiatus.
Visitors on board the La Lapérouse are welcomed at Tien Sa Port in Da Nang.
The Da Nang Department of Tourism held a ceremony on October 9 morning to welcome the cruise ship to Tien Sa port.
“This is a good signal for the local tourism recovery after more than 2 years of hiatus due to COVID-19,” said Nguyen Xuan Binh, deputy director of the Da Nang Department of Tourism.
He also revealed that the La Lapérouse is scheduled to dock at Tien Sa Port again on October 16 and October 19.
During their stay, the foreigners will make a tour of major tourist attractions in Da Nang and nearby localities, including Ngu Hanh Son (a cluster of five marble and limestone hills), Ba Na Hills, Hoi An (a world heritage site recognized by UNESCO), and My Son holy land.
