The Rex Hotel and the Bat Dat Hotel in HCMC have launched two new food programs for gourmets this month. Enthusiasts of German and Belgian beers should stop by the Rex while the Bat Dat is a venue for seafood.
From October 12 to 23, the Rex Hotel will host a festival of German and Belgian beers at the Rose Garden. Joining the program, guests not only have a chance to enjoy many kinds of famous and tasty beers from the two nations that have always been proud of their beer producing technology, but revelers can also get one free mug of German beer for every two they drink as well as a 30% discount on each bottle of German and Belgium beer priced at VND84,000 per bottle.
Rose Garden is an ideal venue for receptions, weddings, birthday parties and fashion shows. It is one of the nicest and most spacious restaurants in the center of HCMC, often serving barbecues such as grilled New Zealand sheep with rosemary sauce and grilled Nha Trang oyster.
Meanwhile, seafood lovers can reward themselves with a big weekend at the Bat Dat Hotel which is presenting seafood buffets every Saturday and Sunday nights. The buffets feature more than 40 Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. Tickets are VND150,000 per adult and VND120,000 per child, inclusive of drinks.
The restaurant is also giving guests one free ticket for the purchase of ten tickets, a 10% discount on a party table and a free table for parties of ten tables for weddings, birthdays or meeting parties from now till February 1, 2010.
