On the occasion of the Tet holidays, the Furama Resort Danang will organize festivities for tourists to enjoy a traditional New Year holiday from February 10 to 12.
Under the theme Spring Garden – Paradise Garden, the resort will be transformed into a countryside market with ladies in traditional dress to introduce specialties of the central region.
The countryside market will feature simple images of wrapping and boiling banh chung (square glutinous rice cake filled with green bean paste and pork fat), consultations with fortune-tellers, calligraphy and portraits.
Tourists can visit an art exhibition of Dong Ho and Hang Trong folk paintings, Hoi An lanterns and XQ embroidery paintings and performances of making to he (sculptured figurines fashioned from colored rice dough), weaving conical hats and carving stone statues.
The resort also holds buffets at the Café Indochine with a live Philippine band.
