Vietnamese display praised at Tours Expo
Update: May 09, 2011
The Vietnamese display at the Tours Expo in France opened on May 7 and has drawn great attention from visitors.

Vietnamese Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh said that this promises to open opportunities for cooperation in culture and tourism between Vietnam and France.

Tours Mayor Jean Germain expressed his delight with the display, especially since it introduced late President Ho Chi Minh’s life when he was in France 100 years ago and took part in the Congress of Tours, and later became a founding member of the French Communist Party.

Germain hailed Vietnam’s rapid development and integration as well as its tourism potential and hoped France will boost cooperation with Vietnam.

Like an honoured guest, the Vietnamese display was located in the centre of the expo, covering an area of nearly 1,000m2 and decorated with traditional features to illustrate the country’s unique cultures and helps visitors learn more about Vietnam and its people.
