According to its announcement on July 18, there will be two flights a week which departs from Ho Chi Minh to Kazakhstan via Bangkok as a transit point.

A representative of the Airlines office in HCM city said that the air route will open up a new opportunity to promote trade cooperation between the two countries and bring Vietnamese visitors to the Central Asia country.

Air Astana which boasts more than 50 domestic and international flights has appointed Vietway Aviation Company its general dealer, in charge of sales and marketing in Vietnam.
