Viet Nam shares tourism development experience with Bangladesh

(TITC) - On October 22nd, Deputy General Director of the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism Nguyen Manh Cuong received the 9-member Bangladeshi delegation led by Mr A.K.M Bari, Chairman of Industry Skills Council (ISC). The visit aims at tourism experience exchange between the two sides.

Addressing at the meeting, Mr A.K.M Bari said Bangladesh's tourism growth is still weak and faces difficulties in attracting international visitors, in spite of the country's great potential. He thus hoped to receive Viet Nam's support in developing the sector.

VNAT's Deputy General Director Nguyen Manh Cuong shared information on administrative management of Viet Nam tourism sector, human resource training, national tourism development strategy, potentials and strengths of Viet Nam tourism, as well as policies on investment and attracting tourists...

In order to boost tourism industry, there need to be the support of the government, the involvement of businesses and communities, development of specific tourist products, competitive prices, ensuring of service quality, focused promotional campaigns. In addition, tourism development strategy should benefits government, businesses and local communities, Cuong stressed.

He also said that there should be agreement between the two governments including annual experts exchanges to further facilitate the mutual tourism cooperation.
