HCMC - Spanish cultural week opens

Spanish cultural week, marking the 35th anniversary of Vietnam- Spain diplomatic relations will take place from November 19 - 25 in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC).

A film festival, guitar gala and photography exhibition will be held during the cultural week.

From November 19 - 23, at the Fafilm Cinema (No 6, Thai Van Lung, District 1), audiences will have a chance to enjoy iconic Spanish films such as "Mujeres al borde de in ataque de nervios" (Nervous Women); "La Lenguade las mariposas" (Butterfly's language); "Los lunes al Sol" (Second days in the sun); "Muerte de un ciclista" (Cyclist's death) and "El Orfanato" (Orphanage).

On November 21, guitarist Hang Nguyen and pianist Ly Giai Hoa will perform "El Fuego" (Flame) and "La Pasi'n" (Passion) at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House.

Additionally, a photo exhibition to introduce Spaniards and the country will be held by the Spanish Embassy to Vietnam and the Vietnam-Spain Friendship Association, at 120 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai street, District 3, from November 21- 25.

Tickets can be collected from Monday to Friday at Jaleo Spanish Language School, 38 Hoa Su, Phu Nhuan District, and the Department of Spanish Linguistics and Literature, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 10 -12 Dinh Tien Hoang street, District 1.
