(TITC) - The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) and the Vietnam Tourism Association jointly held a ceremony in the Hanoi Opera House on December 8, to present the Vietnam Tourism Awards 2011 to 52 leading tourism businesses.
The participants in the ceremony included Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MoCST) Hoang Tuan Anh, Deputy Minister of MoCST Ho Anh Tuan, leaders of VNAT and VITA, representatives of relevant departments, prize winners, press agencies...
Addressing at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Ho Anh Tuan appreciated the efforts of the tourism businesses striving to overcome difficulties in the context of global economic downturn, and contribute to success of the tourism sector in 2011. Vietnam Tourism Awards praises achievement of tourism businesses in order to impulse emulation, creativeness, honour value of trade brands, and improve competitiveness of tourism businesses.
