Various cultural activities to celebrate the Year of Snake will be organized from December 27th, 2012 to February 27th, 2013 in the Hanoi's Ancient Quarter by the Management Board of the Ancient Quarter and units in Hoan Kiem district.
Accordingly, cultural activities will take place from 2pm to 5pm at the Kim Ngan communal temple at 42-44 Hang Bac Street, Hong Lac communal temple at 38 Hang Dao Street, and at Heritage House at 87 Ma May Street. The organizing panel will also introduce projects carried out in Hanoi's Ancient Quarter at the Hanoi Ancient Quarter Information Centre at 28 Hang Buom Street.
The events aim to preserve the values of tangible and intangible cultural heritage in Hanoi, raise people's awareness of the special traditional cultural values of Hanoi, as well as promote the image of the ancient quarter to attract more domestic and international visitors to the beautiful city.
