Sofitel hotels in Vietnam will be celebrating the upcoming Tet (Lunar New Year) with a range of activities to get guests and travelers in the holiday spirit.
The Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi will once again hold its traditional Tet market to help travelers discover and experience local Vietnamese dishes. During the period, there will be bamboo stalls selling food, fresh products, handicrafts and colorful paper paintings from the nearby Dong Ho village. In between the action, visitors can also stop for a warm bowl of pho (Vietnamese-style noodles) and have their portrait painted by a Vietnamese artist. The Metropole Tet market will open from January 31 to February 2.
The Sofitel Plaza Hanoi's Summit Lounge offers customers the best views over Hanoi's West Lake to admire a spectacular fireworks display that will take place on February 9. Furthermore, its Brasserie Westlake restaurant will offer an authentic Tet menu. The Sofitel Plaza Saigon's dragon dance performance is one not to be missed. The cultural show to celebrate the first day of the Lunar New Year will take place on February 10 in the hotel's lobby. On Lunar's Eve night, the hotel's rooftop swimming pool welcomes guests to an exclusive Countdown pool party to enjoy a magnificent fireworks display and a panoramic view of Saigon River and city skyline.
