The program held from 20h to 20h50 every Wednesday and Saturday evening includes parts as classical opera extracts from more than 10 ancient classical opera plays as Ngoai to dang dau, Ly Phung Dinh, Ho sinh dan...; traditional musical instrument concert; solo musical performances of one-stringed zither (dan bau) and Cham trumpet; performance of unique songs, dances of North, Central, South regions...

The highlight of the program is classical opera art. This is a kind of specific traditional art in Viet Nam, formed by music, dance and age-old folk performances. Unlike other kinds of traditional art as cheo, cai luong... classical opera has grand harmony because it describes heroes who dedicate to Motherland, the lessons about human behaviors... It is said that classical opera is the stage of heroes.

Along with many extra activities such as displays of documents, photographs introducing classical opera art and costumes; traditional instruments; souvenirs  (costumes, props, masks, DVD of the concerts...); Nguyen Hien Dinh Classical Opera Theatre not only promotes Vietnamese traditional culture and art but also brings ancient classical opera closer to visitors, contributes preserving and developing classical opera art as well as attracting more and more tourists to Da Nang in particular and Viet Nam in general. Recently, the theater has officially launched the plan on traditional art performance to serve international tourists to Da Nang by sea.

Apart from scheduled programs, Nguyen Hien Dinh Classical Opera Theatre also performs  according to the requests of visitors.

With excellent art performance programs at Nguyen Hien Dinh Classical Opera Theatre, Vietnamese traditional art is not only preserved and promoted but also known widely by international friends. It also contributes promoting Vietnamese traditional art, culture quintessence, especially classical opera art.
