A flower road to welcome the Year of the Snake along the western bank of Han River, under the theme "Flower in blossom", will open on February 7th (27th of the 12th lunar month).
The 1km-long and 11.7m-wide promenade, stretching from the Bach Dang - Phan Dinh Phung T-junction to the Bach Dang - Le Van Duyet T-junction, is decorated with 100,000 baskets of 100 types of flowers and ornamental trees.
A flower arrangement in the shape of a snake spitting out a pearl is expected to be a popular attraction for both Vietnamese and international visitors.
