Hanoi will host many diversified and specific artistic performance programmes on the occasion of the great festivals.
These festivals include the 38th anniversary of southern liberation and Reunification Day (April 30), the 127th anniversary of May Day and the 123rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth.
Accordingly, art performances will be held at Ba Kieu temple, public areas in districts and towns. Photo and fine arts exhibitions on the victory on April 30th 1975, and meetings to pass on traditions to the grassroots will be organized. Cultural, historical and revolutionary relics in the city will be restored.
Hanoi City People's Committee will coordinate with the central province of Nghe An to organize an art performance on May 19; a conference to review 15 years of implementing the resolutions of the 5th Party Central Committee (8th tenure) on "building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture full of national identity"; Vietnam - Hanoi International Tourism Fair 2013; and film screenings and book publications on southern liberation and reunification and President Ho Chi Minh.
Hanoi City People's Committee asked departments, committees, agencies and people's committees in districts and towns to implement their tasks under assigned plans to ensure celebration activities.
