(TITC) - From 8th Oct., the National History Museum will launch a display with the theme on "Asia - Cultural Diversity" to introduce ancient and unique artifacts from Asian countries.
Visiting the exhibition, visitors will have a chance to enjoy more than 100 typical artifacts originating from Asian countries such as China, Japan, South Korea, India, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos and Viet Nam which are currently stored at the National History Museum of Viet Nam.
They are jewelries, altars, architectural materials, potteries and and many special works of art. Being as a vast continent, populated, multi-ethnic, and religious beliefs, Asia is considered a cradle of human civilization with a large number of cultural heritage preserved and stored.
Culturally, Asian countries have a lot in common thanks to the similarity of natural condition, geographical space and climate. Besides, the diversity of ethnic origins and religions helps create unique cultural characteristics of each country, hence forming a cultural diversity picture of the region.
The exhibition will be open to the public until Jan. 2014
