Cherry blossom festival to be held in Ha Long city in April

The opening ceremony of the annual cherry blossom festival will take place on 8pm at Ha Long park and will be broadcast live on Quang Ninh Television and Radio.


The ceremony will include a dragon performance and Vietnam - Japan cultural exchange.

More than 200 cherry blossom trees will be on display at the festival.

40 booths will be arranged during the event to introduce tourism products, commemorative gifts and other typical products of Quang Ninh and Japan.

There will be a seminar to promote trade and tourism investment and cooperation between Ha Long city and Japanese localities.
