The 5th International Kite Festival 2014, themed “Peaceful dances” will take place in Vung Tau city in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau from May 8-12.
The event is expected to see the participation of various teams from 26 countries and territories across the world. The host, Viet Nam, will take part in the festival with six teams.
The festival will be held simultaneously at Vung Tau Intourco resort, Vung Tau tourism market and Thuy Van - Paradise beach in Vung Tau city.
During the festival, a series of other activities such as a kite exhibition, a freestyle kite performance and a course on how to make a kite will also be organised.
