A large crowd in the Czech Republic joined a Viet Nam Culture Day in Prague on June 22 with traditional art performances and food.
The event was to help increase the mutual understanding between the people of the two countries, while promoting Viet Nam’s unique culture, as part of the Asian Festival.
There are about 65,000 Vietnamese in the East European country.
Last year, the Czech government recognised the Vietnamese community as a minority group. This status has enabled them to learn their mother language and preserve traditions.
