Five main activities of the festival will take place in Nha Trang Bay, including opening ceremony (2 August in Square 2/4); yacht exhibition and parade (from 2 to 4 August in Yacht Wharf and around Hon Tre Island); international wine and cuisine festival (from 2 to 4 August in Tran Hung Dao Park and the stadium of Thanh Nien Park); gala dinner (3 August in Yacht Wharf) and closing ceremony (4 August in Square 2/4)

Besides, many other diversified activities will be also held in the framework of the festival such as arts program for Truong Sa Archipelago; day for Nha Trang marine environment; exhibition and parade of super cars; arts program of the countries participating in the festival; meeting and exchange among yacht owners…

Nha Trang Bay is recognized as one of the most beautiful bays in the world. With favorable conditions of geographic location, landscape, climate and specific historical, cultural values, Nha Trang has potentials to develop diversified tourism types, especially sea tourism with water sport activities. International Yacht Festival Nha Trang – Viet Nam 2014 is a tourism event in national and international scales to promote the image of Nha Trang tourism and also Viet Nam tourism to international friends. The event also contributes to the steady growth of Khanh Hoa tourism, towards to targets of welcoming 3.4 million tourist arrivals, including 840,000 international arrivals, tourism receipts of 5,000 billion VND in 2014.
