Exhibition on 1946-1957 land reform in Ha Noi
Update: Sep 11, 2014
Nearly 150 original artifacts, materials and photos related to the land reform campaign that abolished feudalism and heightened peasants’ power of ownership in the north of Viet Nam, between 1946 and 1957, are being exhibited in Ha Noi.

The exhibition aims to provide an objective, scientific and historic perspective on the land reform campaign. The historic campaign, one of the most important periods in the modern history of the North, redefined the entire region by redistributing agricultural land to the general population, with the revolutionary motto of “return land to the peasants”.

Visitors have an opportunity to see original artifacts, materials and photos related to the period currently stored by Vietnam National Museum of History, Ho Chi Minh Museum, archive centers and museums of some northern provinces.

The exhibition will run at Viet Nam National Museum of History until the end of 2014.
