According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Viet Nam's Sea and Island Culture and Tourism Week will take place at the Culture and Arts Exhibition Centre, No. 2 Hoa Lu street, Ha Noi from November 20th - 24th.
Accordingly, cultural heritage from Viet Nam’s sea and islands region, as well as contributions made by soldiers safeguarding national sovereignty, will be in the spotlight at the event.
Diverse activities such as an exhibition on the value of tangible and intangible antiques found in various coastal areas throughout Viet Nam, and a contest on the homeland’s sea and islands, will take place.
It will gather participants from culture, sports and tourism departments in 13 cities and provinces nationwide to mark the Viet Nam Culture Heritage Day (November 23rd).
The week will kick off with an arts performance on November 21st to be broadcast live on Viet Nam Television Channel 2.
