The Prime Minister has recently approved a master plan for the Ba Den Mountain National Resort in the southern province of Tay Ninh by 2020, with a vision to 2030.
Covering an area of 30 sq.km, the Ba Den Mountain National Resort will comprise 11 functional subdivisions, including spiritual tourism, a cable car system, ecological tourism, adventure sports and a resort.
The PM also requested the establishment of a management board of the Ba Den Mountain National Resort to promote investment activities as well as preserve and develop the value of the tourism site.
Close to Ho Chi Minh City, bordering Cambodia with several border gates and commercial activities, Tay Ninh province boasts Ba Den mountain, the highest in South of Viet Nam with many historic relics, and the Trans-Asia highway through the Moc Bai border gate.
Ba Den Mountain Resort is located 11km from Tay Ninh City's centre. Ba Den Mountain is home to many temples and pagodas and romantic landscapes, the former battle fields at the mountain caves Kim Quang, Huyen Mon, Thien Thai, Cay Da, Ong Ta and Ong Ho.
